DeSantis Has Taught Elites Throughout the Country a Lesson...and Martha's Vinyard Was the Classroom!
What happened on the Vinyard is also happening in major, sanctuary cities across the country. Just ask Kamala Harris.
Martha’s Vinyard…the island of elitist luxury, liberal snobbery and now, irredeemable racism. The liberal attitude says, “let those poor illegal aliens in the country…as long as they don’t show up on my island and destroy my property value.” Yes, the Martha’s Vinyard liberal wants the peasant on the mainland to handle the burden of being invaded by illegals. If you don’t agree with me, why were all 50 illegals put back on busses and deported off the island within 24 hours? Their hypocrisy is on full display, and it is AWESOME to watch!
Kudos to Gov. Ron DeSantis! Sending those illegal immigrants to the island was absolutely brilliant! If the rest of us are going to be burdened with accepting illegals into our cities, towns and neighborhoods, shouldn’t EVERYONE share in the burden? Why should Martha’s Vinyard, or any other liberal enclave get a pass? Most of the people on the island have more money than God, so they should be able to support these poor, law breaking, illegal immigrants who were told to come to our country by the Biden regime. Did I mention that over 80% of the people on the Vinyard voted for Biden?
Let’s take a look at the real reasons DeSantis sent these people to Martha’s Vinyard in the first place. Yes, hypocrisy is part of it, but there are two, much bigger reasons those folks were boarded onto planes and sent there. The first was to teach the elitists on Martha’s Vinyard and other wealthy, liberals throughout the country a lesson. They will not be immune to the overwhelming burden the Biden regime is forcing on the American way of life. The people on Martha’s Vinyard may have loaded these 50 illegals up and shipped them off the island for now, but with the massive, unstopping flow of illegals at the southern border, it’s just a matter of time before more show up. DeSantis just gave them a taste of what the illegal, Biden policy will do to their island, and I am quite certain that many are rethinking their support for the liberal agenda altogether. The second reason they were sent was to send a message to Barack Obama! DeSantis knows, as do many of us, that Biden couldn’t run a lemonade stand, let alone a country, so why not send a message to the current puppet master, and park it right on the doorstep of his $15,000,000 estate! Well done, Governor DeSantis….well done indeed!
Watching liberal heads explode has been a hobby of mine for years. It happens when their hypocrisy is exposed by bright light. Think of Count Dracula when exposed to sunlight. It’s quite entertaining actually, and it beats the hell out of your typical, every day people watching. A really good one I saw this morning was from immigration attorney and Martha’s Vinyard resident, Rachel Self. She is attempting to do damage control for the unabashedly racist residents on the island. According to liberals in the news, Washington and on the Vinyard, she is going to set thing straight. Just curious, do you think the Biden regime lied to those illegals he has been putting on planes and flying to the interior of the country for 2 years now? Does Rachel Self think that there will be jobs and housing awaiting them when they are sent to Main Street USA? The Biden administration is shipping 10s of thousands of illegals all over the country, in the wee hours of the night, without any warning call to cities or towns where they are being sent. And the liberal media has run cover for the regime by ignoring the story and keeping it off your television. Rachel Self, are the actions of the Biden regime sadistic, or is it only sadistic when a Republican does it and sends the illegals to your island?
This is a purposeful derailment of federal immigration policy to prevent people from complying with federal immigration policy. This is problematic because the state should not be interfering with federal immigration policy.
I am not an attorney, and I don’t claim to know everything about federal immigration laws as they are written. What I do know is that federal immigration policy, and federal immigration law should mirror one another. In other words, federal immigration policy MUST be based on current, federal immigration law. For almost 2 years now, the Biden regime has been breaking immigration law on a massive scale. All you have to do is look at the border itself. It has more holes in it than a slice of Lorraine Swiss, and DHS Secretary Mayorkas has told our border patrol to stand down. States not only have a right to intervene when federal immigration laws are being deliberately broken, they have a duty to protect their own borders and citizens from a federally sanctioned invasion. Especially when the Biden regime is sending those illegals to states, in the middle of the night, under cover of darkness, illegally.
So, Governor DeSantis of Florida and Governor Abbott of Texas have brought this issue front and center to the whole nation. Many cities, including Chicago, New York, Washington DC and others have been inundated with illegals being sent not just to the cities themselves, but to the front doorstep of prominent political elites like Kamala Harris. Now that these liberally run cities are getting a taste of what the rest of us are being forced to endure, they don’t like it so much. Here is the scene right in front of VP Harris’s home in DC. Over 100 illegals showed up yesterday and 50 more today. Maybe Kamala can feed and house them, being that she is the official, US border czar and has yet to visit the border.
