If College Campuses Have Armed Security, Why Are We Not Doing That for Grade Schools?
The vast majority of colleges/universities in the US have armed security on site. Why do they get potentially lethal, armed security and not grade schools?
The left seems to welcome the carnage of grade school shootings. They play it like they really do care about the victims, but the reality is, the media welcomes the ratings opportunity that such tragedies provide. It also gives them lapdog status when they push the political elites’ wet dream of disarming the citizens of the USA.
If you don’t believe me, take a look at the reporting for Chicago over the Memorial Day weekend. More than 50 people were shot with 9 deaths. It was the most violent Memorial Day in Chicago history. And rather than report on the carnage, they run cover for Lori Lightfoot, the mayor of Chicago by not reporting on it. If not Chicago, take any major city in the US, and you have the same scenarios.
Colleges/universities in the US have armed security on campus at all times. This is shocking, being that the vast majority of college faculty, from professors right up to the Deans are leftists who absolutely despise guns in the USA. That is, unless those guns are protecting them. The same holds true for the political class as well as Hollywood, or any leftist who believes their life is more important than the peasant class. And the sad thing is, they get a pretty good number of peasants to go along with those ideas. This would explain the lefts love for the ignorant masses.
Former Secretary of Labor and Berkeley Professor Robert Reich tweeted this yesterday.
My question to Robert Reich is this; If colleges and universities are going to protect their students and faculty by employing ARMED, internal police/security forces, why can’t our grade schools have the same courtesy? I don’t believe there is a higher education school in this country (I could be wrong here) that doesn’t have some sort of armed security or police. Certainly, major universities do, including Professor Reich’s very own Berkeley University. Yes, Mr. Reich gets to work in the lap of comfort and security, knowing that his ass is relatively safe while working as a professor at one of the largest, left leaning universities in the country. As a matter of fact, in 2012, Berkeley was prepared to purchase a armored police vehicle, but cancelled the order in July, 2012 due to massive uproar. Again, the intent was there for the liberal elites to protect themselves.
I have an idea, lets fire the Berkeley security/police and put signs up all around the campus, stating that is it a gun free zone. No firearms allowed. Let’s see Robert Reich live and suffer under his own proposed madness. Better yet, let’s keep the police and really make it a gun free zone by disarming them. In the event of an attack, they can throw dry erasers at the assailant. This scenario will never happen because, like I said before, the left loves to be protected by guns. Yes ladies and gentlemen, security and safety for me, but not for thee!
We all know the real reason the left want’s guns banned in the first place. It has absolutely nothing to do with safety or security. If is was about safety or security, the entire population would be unable to acquire any type of firearm, including government. Instead, it has everything to do with making the populace of peasants unable to defend themselves from the tyranny of government that we are now subjected to from the criminals running the country. People like Robert Reich spew the propaganda to help the Marxist government move closer to their attempt at canceling the 2nd Amendment. They will maintain their own protection with armed security while denying you and I and our children our own security.
