My Open Letter to AOC on Immigration
Not so fast! Time to poke some holes in your BS!
Dear AOC,
Is “asylum seeker” the new term you are using to gain favor for the illegals pouring over the border and being sent to all corners of the country by the Bribe’em administration? You know, they changed global warming to climate change some years ago, when weather patterns didn’t support the term global warming. So, your play on words regarding illegal immigration is brilliant and makes perfect sense. Just curious…did you come up with “asylum seeker” on your own, or did your handlers tell you to use it? I’m only asking, because a few short years ago, you were just a bartender before you landed in Congress and became an expert on the millions of “asylum-seeking” illegals showing up in neighborhoods everywhere.
In NY City, as of September 10, over 113,000 illegal immigrants have showed up. How do you know they are all seeking asylum…have you asked them? Did you stand at the bus door with a clipboard, handing out applications or asking any questions of these “asylum seekers?” Have they filled out Form I-589, Application for Asylum and for Withholding of Removal at a port of entry? South of the border, from Central to South America there are no war-torn countries and really no danger to anyone living there, other than possibly being poor. However, according to your tweet that I have included above, “imminent danger” gives them the right to come here to seek asylum. How do you know that these 113,000 illegals are all in imminent danger? How do you know that the millions pouring over the border are in imminent danger? Who gets to determine what imminent danger is, democrats like you? And please do not tell me or anyone else that climate change is causing this massive amount of migration, as you attempted to do in 2019. The reason these people are coming here is because they are being told to come here by your party. They are also being paid with US, taxpayer money.
Remember when we said climate change would cause mass migration, and the right called us crazy? Well, it’s happening. And walling ourselves off from the world isn’t a plan for our future.

I’d like to see the scientific data or evidence you have that shows climate change is causing mass migration from Central and South America. Surely, if you're going to spew this garbage, you have something to back it up other than Al Gore telling you to trust him.
Let’s do an experiment. I want you to go to the southern border and cross into Mexico with nothing. But you have to do it in the Rio Grande. In other words, you are going to enter their country outside of any port of entry, illegally, just like they are doing here in the US. I would love to see what happens to you when you get to Mexico, or any other country, south of the US border, illegally and without papers or identification. I know for a fact that you would be jailed as soon as you were caught. You would also NOT receive any monetary support from the government, like illegals here receive from US taxpayers. So, how about it AOC…are you willing to do this experiment? Didn’t think so.
Your attack on NY Assemblywoman, Jaime Williams was unprovoked and absolutely disgusting. Ms. Williams is a legal immigrant from Trinidad, and she is also a democrat. The fact that she was there as a republican witness should be irrelevant. The truth is, Ms. Williams could have come up with the greatest idea regarding immigration solutions, and you still would have shot her down with your snarky, little grand-standing tantrum act in front of all those cameras. And don’t even attempt to walk this back, because your tweet below is very clear that the only reason for your unprovoked attack was her being a witness for republicans. You unconscionable, evil little brat!
Recently, you compared immigration at Ellis Island in the first half of this century to the current invasion at the southern border.
When it comes to people coming to New York City today, nothing, I’m telling you, nothing, compared to the daily amounts of people that we saw coming in through Ellis Island in the first half of this century.
I am assuming you meant the first half of the last century and not the first half of this century, as we are not even halfway through this century. That’s ok…rookie mistake. But we do need to compare what actually happened at Ellis Island and what is happening at the southern border now, because there is a huge difference in how Ellis Island was managed compared to illegals pouring over the border in Texas, Arizona and California. At Ellis Island, US officials were able to screen the people coming to the US. They were able to tell if someone was planning to assimilate and become a US citizen. Criminals were turned away, and literacy was required for entry. If you were diseased, you were turned away. To put it plainly, if the United States was going to allow immigration, we wanted the best people we could possibly get and we screened those coming through to ensure we did get decent people who wanted to assimilate. Unlike the southern border today, NY Harbor was not left open with no one standing guard.
Additionally, In the 63 years between 1891 through 1954, Ellis Island received roughly 12 million immigrants, which averages just less than 200,000 immigrants per year. The southern border right now is letting in millions per year, with September clocking in at 210,000 apprehensions at the southern border. That is according to a report from left-wing, CBS news last week. This report debunks your Ellis Island claims that I quoted above and exposes you as a liar. See for yourself below.
Border Patrol agents apprehended roughly 140,000 migrants who crossed the U.S.-Mexico border without authorization during the first 20 days of September, an average of about 6,900 each day, according to the internal agency data. That represents a 60% increase from the daily average of 4,300 in July.
The agency is on track to record more than 210,000 migrant apprehensions this month, which would be the highest level since December and May 2022, when Border Patrol reported over 220,000 apprehensions, the current all-time monthly highs. During those record-setting months, Border Patrol apprehended more than 7,000 migrants each day, a level September's average is close to matching.
There is a silver lining for you in all of this though. You managed to get Elon Musk, to tell everyone just how smart you really are. Well done AOC, well done indeed!
