New York Governor Kathy Hochul Goes on a Photo Op Crusade to the Grocery Store and Pitches an Inflation Refund Check!
After the disastrous election on November 5th, Hochul is attempting damage control by acting like she gives a shit about New York residents and floats the idea of a $500 check back to taxpayers!
Eggs. Bread. Diapers. They're just some of the essential items New York families pick up when they go grocery shopping – and these costs add up. Our proposed Inflation Refund checks of up to $500 will put money back in the pockets of millions of New Yorkers.
Can anyone tell me who actually pays for Kathy Hochul’s groceries at the Governor’s Mansion? I am dead serious too…does she actually pay for her own food, or is it all provided by the New York taxpayer? Anyone out there who has the answer to that question, please share it in the comments.
At this point, every New York citizen would be better off heading south of the border, posing as an illegal, crossing into Texas and then making their way to New York State. You’ll get a hell of a lot more than $500…that is for sure. And therein lies the problem that Hochul is having.
She may have won the Governor’s office two years ago, but she did it with lower than expected numbers. Harris may have won New York on November 5th, but even her numbers were horrible. The democrat electorate in New York is changing fast, and Hochul is trying to do damage control by handing back money we have paid into the system while acting like she gives a shit about inflation.
During the entire campaign season, all we heard was Bidenomics is working…or the IRA is working. Even Hochul claimed all of these bullshit policies and bills were working to lower inflation. Now, all of a sudden, she wants to help us with an inflation refund check?! Where the hell was this idea back in 2021 or 2022 when she was demanding half the state move down to Florida “where you belong?”
Better yet, now that she admits inflation has blown up and wreaked havoc on New York residents, why not do something that would bring meaningful, lasting change across the state by LOWERING TAXES? Let the people retain more of what they earn so they can afford the eggs, bread and diapers that she acts so concerned about now!
Comparatively speaking, $500 isn’t jack shit! It’s not just a drop in the bucket, it a drop in all the oceans combined. Add in gasoline costs, energy costs, clothing costs, and yes…TAXES that seem to rise every year or two with new property assessments. Give me a break Kathy…this $500 optics play is nothing but a JOKE!
