The Term, "Nobody is Above the Law" Rings Hollow in Politics Today Because Most of Washington DC Lives Above the Law.
This fact leads me to conclusion that it is high time Washington DC gets a new label. Calling it a swamp is far too kind.
THE LAW
The American principle that no one is above the law was reaffirmed. Donald Trump was given every opportunity to defend himself. It was a state case, not a federal case.
The jury heard five weeks of evidence, five weeks. After careful deliberation, the jury reached a unanimous verdict. They found Donald Trump guilty on all 34 felony counts. Now he'll be given the opportunity as he should, to appeal that decision just like everyone else has that opportunity. That's how the American system of justice works. And it's reckless, it's dangerous, it's irresponsible for anyone to say this was rigged just because they don't like the verdict. Our justice system has endured for nearly 250 years, and it really is the cornerstone of America, our justice system.
Joe Biden response to Trump conviction
May 31, 2024
The only reason Joe Biden and others haven’t been given a chance to defend themselves, is because they haven’t been indicted by the justice system that protects them. In the world of Washington DC, you could look into the background of almost anyone there and bring up multiple crimes that you and I would be in prison for. This fact that the majority of the political class in DC is untouchable is as indisputable as Newtons Law of Gravity…so much so, that it should now be included with the facts of life.
How these people can utter those words without turning 500 shades of red defies physics. Almost all of those who exclaim “no one is above the law” are some of the biggest political criminals in the history of the country. They are all trash and are devoid of a conscience, but not devoid of guilt. They are protected and therefore continue to breathe the air of freedom at the expense of our own.
Washington DC is clearly full of corrupt politicians who do actually live above the law. I could write for hours about all of the criminal activity of just the 6 politicians in my photo at the top of the page have engaged in, but we already know it all. We have all seen the verifiable evidence over the years, so there is really no sense in wasting your time by making you read the regurgitation. The 6 people in the collage at the top of the page are probably the biggest criminals in DC today. They are all felonious, vile scum.
Most of you are going to disagree with my assessment that Washington DC is not a swamp! Now, before you get all bent out of shape, let me explain how I came to such a conclusion. A swamp is too kind a title. Even though you and I won’t drink the water in a swamp, swim or bathe in it, there are many creatures who survive by drinking that water, while swimming and bathing in it. There are so many good things that a swamp has to offer. Swamps have an ecosystem that supports the lives of many residents inside and outside of its boundaries. If Washington was really a swamp, even though it would not be the cleanest and most desirable of places, it would support the residents inside and outside.
I believe it is high time that we give Washington DC the label that it really deserves. Something that will reflect a better reality. As I alluded to earlier, a swamp is actually a relatively good place, even though it may smell funny and some of the creatures aren’t very desirable. Washington is nothing like a swamp at all.
I believe a better title for Washington DC is a septic tank. Hear me out. You can pump out a septic tank with an election, but their only replacement is more of the same shit that was just removed. Then of course you have stubborn pieces of shit in the tank who have avoided being pumped out over the years. They are still there because their constituents continue to vote for them, and there are no turd limits in the septic tank, so once the excrement hits the tank, there is a pretty good chance they will be there forever, or at least until they retire or die. In a septic tank, there is no “out with the bad, in with the good.” All the excrement that gets pumped out is replaced with more of the same. You know I’m right about this.
