Trump Assembles the Dream Team with 8 of 24 Named So Far!
Number 47 is working at breakneck speed to build a strong cabinet, but will there be a fly in the ointment for his second term? I pray not, but fear it is inevitable in the DC septic tank.
I have so much hope that the Trump administration will do great things for the country. God knows we could all use a reprieve from the last 4 years. A break from the inflation, corruption, lawfare, illegal immigration…and that God forsaken cackle!
A part of me is a bit unsettled though, because in the back of my mind I know there is going to be someone working in the dark corners of the White House to screw things up. Is there going to be a Mike Pence or a Bill Barr in the mix? Is it possible that there is a Liz Cheney or Adam Kinzinger in this new administration, posing as a conservative? You’re damn straight it is. As a matter of historic principle, I believe it to be inevitable that at least one of these dream team conservatives is going to work against the Trump agenda. We are talking about Washington DC insiders and their hatred for Donald Trump. Remember, he is a president for the people, not the politicians, and that doesn’t sit well in DC.
Look at the number of leaks that took place in the months after Trump was sworn into office back in 2017. This was unprecedented and all of them went right to the liberal media, in what seemed like a weekly occurrence. Now, after all the years since then, those who worked against Trump during his first term have been exposed, with Mike Pence being the biggest name out of them all.
Presidential administrations are filled with mid and low-level people whom you and I will never know but can play a major role the success of the administration or whether or not it falls victim to sabotage, such as internal leaks. The 1st Trump administration was no different…as we all know there were lower-level adversaries in his administration who endorsed Kamala Harris earlier this year. Hello leakers!
Trump has much to be thankful for at this stage of the game, the least of which was staying alive during campaign season. Right now, the political class in the DC septic tank is collectively shitting its pants (pardon the pun) for several reasons. 1) Trump has lived through, survived and grown stronger in spite of the onslaught of the last 9 years from the political left. 2) He has learned much about the DC septic tank over those 9 years, including the absolute vileness of it all. 3) Most importantly, he has a mandate now. With ownership of both Houses and the White House, Trump can and should bring the LEGAL hammer down on those who targeted him, those who stole 2020 and those who destroyed the lives of the January 6th Political Prisoners. And the tip of that legal spear is Matt Gaetz.
His mandate also gives him overwhelming power to push an agenda for the American people that is long overdue. But in order for that mandate to work, it is a requirement that those who broke laws, committed treason, wrongfully targeted Americans and denied them their Constitutional rights need to be held accountable. Hopefully this accountability can be attained without any internal sabotage from administration officials or staff…but I wouldn’t count on it.
