We Are All Texas Now!
The Biden Administration’s lawlessness at the border has to be confronted, or we will cease to exist as a nation.
The Supreme Court…9 unelected officials who get to decide what is and what isn’t Constitutional. In a perfect world, all of this would be done without any bias. Whether they agree with the Constitution as written or not, they have sworn an oath to adhere to the law of the land, just like our politicians have sworn an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. The problem is, many of our officials, elected or unelected, don’t agree with the Constitution. So much for a perfect world.
In the case of Eagle Pass Texas and the razor wire that was being installed, the Supreme Court’s 5-4 ruling, attempting to uphold the longstanding idea that the federal government and only the federal government can enforce border security is wrong. This insinuates that the Biden regime’s federal immigration policy is based on current immigration laws that are on the books now. If US immigration laws were being upheld right now, none of this would be happening, at least not to the extent that is it now. But when the federal government continues to break immigration law by not enforcing border security and allowing what amounts to a massive invasion of foreign illegals, a state has the Constitutional right to defend itself. 6 million illegals within 3 years…I’d call that an invasion, wouldn’t you?
Texas Governor Greg Abbot is openly defying the Biden Administration and the Supreme Court ruling by continuing to add more barbed wire along the 30 mile stretch of Eagle Pass Texas. I am not sure if Abbott is continuing to block federal agents from the park, but if I were in his shoes, I would keep them all out. He now has 25 Republican governors on his side as well. All of them have signed a joint statement that can be read below. I am certain that more will sign on to this statement.
President Biden and his Administration have left Americans and our country completely vulnerable to unprecedented illegal immigration pouring across the Southern border. Instead of upholding the rule of law and securing the border, the Biden Administration has attacked and sued Texas for stepping up to protect American citizens from historic levels of illegal immigrants, deadly drugs like fentanyl, and terrorists entering our country.
We stand in solidarity with our fellow Governor, Greg Abbott, and the State of Texas in utilizing every tool and strategy, including razor wire fences, to secure the border. We do it in part because the Biden Administration is refusing to enforce immigration laws already on the books and is illegally allowing mass parole across America of migrants who entered our country illegally.
The authors of the U.S. Constitution made clear that in times like this, states have a right of self-defense, under Article 4, Section 4 and Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3 of the U.S. Constitution. Because the Biden Administration has abdicated its constitutional compact duties to the states, Texas has every legal justification to protect the sovereignty of our states and our nation.
Signatories include: Governor Kay Ivey (AL), Governor Mike Dunleavy (AK), Governor Sarah Sanders (AR), Governor Ron DeSantis (FL), Governor Brian Kemp (GA), Governor Brad Little (ID), Governor Eric Holcomb (IN), Governor Kim Reynolds (IA), Governor Jeff Landry (LA), Governor Tate Reeves (MS), Governor Mike Parson (MO), Governor Greg Gianforte (MT), Governor Jim Pillen (NE), Governor Joe Lombardo (NV), Governor Chris Sununu (NH), Governor Doug Burgum (ND), Governor Mike DeWine (OH), Governor Kevin Stitt (OK), Governor Henry McMaster (SC), Governor Kristi Noem (SD), Governor Bill Lee (TN), Governor Spencer Cox (UT), Governor Glenn Youngkin (VA), Governor Jim Justice (WV), and Governor Mark Gordon (WY).
As all of this plays out, many on the left have said that Biden should federalize the Texas National Guard, thus stripping Governor Abbot of any power he may have. Some have even referred to the Texas National Guard as Abbots own personal militia. I don’t think very many Texas NG troops would be willing to take orders from this lawless regime. As a matter of fact, I think these 25 governors should send their own National Guard troops to Texas and lend a hand. Talk about open defiance!
I live in, what used to be the great state of New York. As is the case with many states, liberalism has ruined what used to be one of the best states to live in and raise a family. Liberal governors like Hochul, Pritzker, Witmer and others throughout the US are just as guilty as the Biden regime when it comes to the invasion of the country, because they have all claimed sanctuary status in their states. The only difference between states like mine and Texas is the fact that we can’t install razor wire at the border with PA to keep illegals out. These governors allow them in, pay them with our taxes, shut down schools to house them and tell the legal citizens to shut the hell up and deal with it. We are no longer represented by our own governments at the state or federal level, and I believe open defiance by every citizen should be our duty.
Unless we want to cease to exist, we need to realize that we are all Texas now!
